Automatic Rooster is a fun central Vermont area band, that plays all your favorite classic, danceable old ROCK-N-ROLL, R&B and BLUES tunes.  They come out every night with high energy, right from the first tune.  The band's sound is grounded by a kickin' bottom end - with veterans Al Montgomery on drums and John "JD" Doyle on bass - coupled with the tastey, unexpected guitar playing and vocal harmonies of John Snyder and Jason Twigg-Smith. The band's core is tight, and their performances can be wild and raucous.  They always have fun on stage.  You can dance to every tune on the setlist.  And their playing is always enjoyable to watch if you're more in the mood to sit back, watch and enjoy.

Their setlist includes songs by the Rolling Stones, Phish, Chuck Berry, Joe Walsh/James Gang, Tom Petty, Delbert McClinton, the Beatles, the Eagles, CCR/John Fogerty, the Kinks, BTO, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Freddie King, Willie Dixon, BB King, the Who, the Georgia Satellites. 

Automatic Rooster has been hired to play private parties, big outdoor gigs, fund raisers, a few wedding bashes (we are not a formal wedding band) and all sorts of other events.  We occasionally play local clubs in the central Vermont area, so check under "News and Events" and come hear us LIVE!.
